Getting the ducks in a row for the weekend...

 I AM SO EXCITED...

I am getting my ducks in a row, or at least trying to anyway.  There's a Duck Tolling Retriever dog show at the park, they're chasing my ducks.  I'm chasing the dogs with one duck in one hand, the net in another, I've stepped in dog poo and there's a goose chasing me.  There's feathers everywhere.  Oh, looks like One-Eyed Horace has been snatched by one of the dogs.  (Send help, I'm blinking twice, here!).

There's a grumpy old man on a park bench on the other side of the pond and he's feeding my ducks.  There's a hole in my net, and one of my ducks is on fire by the dumpster.  I suspect that the Trash Pandas have something to do with that.  Foie Gras anyone?

In the end, everything will be fine.  I will have my ducks in a row, except for poor One-Eyed Horace, (RIP Horace, you were a Magnificent Muscovy).  The Foie Gras tastes a little gamey and I keep picking Trash Panda hairs out of my mouth, this is a little off-putting.

IT'S JUST GETTING THERE THAT'S THE PROBLEM...

It snowed here last night, present temperature is 12 degrees.  At the last possible moment, I ordered a new camera, and then added on a mic set.  Then...  added an AC Adapter for my Nikon...  Timmy said something about something....  I'm going to be pissed off if my packages are delayed because of an inch of snow on the ground.  White River School District has a 2-hour late start today.

I don't claim to know what the hell I am doing.  I know the cooking aspect.  At the same time, I've also been a little fearful of public speaking.  All these years of friends telling me, "Go on Master Chef!  Go on Hell's Kitchen!  Go on...."  Of course, I have to remind them that I have extreme social anxiety and public speaking has never been my strong suit.  I also have a little bit of a stutter at times when I get stressed out or anxious.  This is going to be different though.  Or will it?  Who knows.  I am great in social settings.  Maybe this might fix me?  I don't know.  I have always been great at the written word, casually at least.

It's also the excitement of doing something that is outside my comfort zone.  I love to experience new things.  I love the exploration, the learning that goes along, the trials and tribulations...

I will also be doing an episode on Cast Iron pans, so look for that.  It may not always be actual cooking, there will be cooking-related videos.
